Club Rules

  • The aim of the Club is to provide opportunities for its membership to enjoy and gain experience in outdoor activities and to further their experience in reasonable safety.
  • Persons participating in Club activities or events must be fully paid up members of the Club
  • Membership will be open to persons over the age of 18 at the date of application who have completed an AOAC membership form.
  • The Club reserves the right to refuse membership where there is a risk that the potential member could bring the Club into disrepute.  The majority committee decision is final.
  • An annual subscription will be paid by members at a rate to be determined at the AGM.
  • Membership will expire on the 31st March and members have 2 months in which to rejoin the Club or they will be liable for a higher subscription fee to be determined at the AGM.
  • Members must abide by the spirit of the Constitution and the Club Management Documents.
  • Members are responsible for their own safety and well being when participating in any club activity or social event.
  • Members who do not abide by the rules of the Club or are being adjudged of unsatisfactory conduct may have their membership terminated at the discretion of the committee.
  • Subscription is forfeited for a member that has resigned, or is suspended or has their membership terminated.
