Home |The club membership year runs from 1st October to 30th September, benefits of joining include:- Access to activities at cost, most tuition is free though you may have to pay the cost of hiring equipment etc Club Store - this has a range of equipment (listed in the club magazine) which can be hired very cheaply, a quarterly Magazine and discounts at various local outdoor shops.
Membership Rates for 2008/2009:-

Note: the Club membership year has just been changed (at the AGM on 3rd March 2008). Existing members' membership will be extended to the start of the new year (ie 30th September 2008). People joining the Club now will get membership for 18 months (ie until 30th September 2009).
Many people find the club rather daunting to start with, especially if they come to the pub on Wednesdays and perhaps don't know anyone. Don't worry! Most people that look relaxed and at home now started out not knowing anyone too. We do have one strong recommendation:-
Get involved with an activity as soon as you can, most activities are in smallish groups where it is much easier to get to know other members
