Borrowing and using a First Aid Kit

The club has a number of First Aid Kits which are made available to members on request. Small belt kits are perfect for mobile activities such as short walks or cycle rides. The medium-sized kit is suitable for larger, group activities and weekends away. The expedition kit is recommended for club activities involving many (>50) people staying in a single location. These kits are intended to be a crucial resource to club members in the event of an emergency.

The club kits are sealed using an easily-breakable tag. The absence of this tag is an important signal to Equipment Officers to show that the kit needs to be checked. Contained items should not be used unless in an emergency. Do not open the kit unless a club member has been hurt.

A full list of each kit's contents is available at the links provided below.
