First Aid organiser wanted

We are looking for someone - or two - to take on an interesting new development area for the Club. Many people feel that we should have a qualified First Aider on major events. The AOAC has run two previous First Aid courses on the Mendips and we recognise that we should be planning a course at least once a year.

The organiser would be responsible for:

- Making sure that there is at least one First Aid course a year (does NOT need actually to be there)

- Developing the area of First Aid kit for members – how really depends on the person

- Liaising with other outdoor clubs – they are interested in what we are doing

We have already gathered a lot of information about First Aid kit and a ‘How to’ for the First Aid course is already on the website – so a lot of the hard work has been done.

You would NOT be expected to attend every committee meeting – but might need to come along sometimes.
